While still teenagers, the two years since their 2015 inception have seen four-piece Vinyl Staircase carve their own space in the local scene and beyond through their refreshing odes to the endless spirit of youth.
Their recent self-produced single ‘German Wings’, which premiered on Phil Taggart’s Radio 1 show and also received attention from the NME has been favourably compared to the psychedelic sonic distortions of Syd Barret to Television.
Previously backed by Wolf Alice as one of their favourite bands to watch out for, and with touring schedules involving the likes of lysergic indie favourites Swim Deep, Jaws and Blossoms, Vinyl Staircase are a euphoric, punchy band in their relatively early yet promising days.
