Luke Paolo and the Grapefruit

Luke Paulo began writing songs and performing in 2011, eventually finding his way to his characteristic noirish style combining a jazzy European sound with melancholy or darkly playful lyrics. He began playing with Finnish pianist Maija Tuomi-Nikula in 2012; and they have developed the project since then by working loosely with several friends to provide Luke with a full live band: The Grapefruit. Their debut EP (‘Mirrors’) was released on the 26th September 2014 and they are now working on a debut album.
