Started by brothers Ryan and Wes Niemandt in 2005, the Kamikaze Test Pilots started their flight into rock music with the completion of Simon Buckett on bass and Chris Charles on lead guitar in 2011. Having met at gigs of each other’s bands they stayed firends ever since, which finally led to their idea of forming a band. And, when listening to their music you hear each individual’s musical background, be it a punk attitude or heavy hard rock riffing, groove-laden metal or poppy melodies. One thing is obvious: it is their friendshup and passion that makes their music so authentic and their shows so energetic. With their self-titled debut, the Kamikaze Test Pilots are ready to prove themselves so let’s give them the final say: ”No space suits and no high street haircuts, just honesty with a large dose of originality.”
