The Readipop Heritage Trails were developed by a group of young people, as part of a heritage project called Reading on Tour. The project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Reading Borough Council, with support from Reading Museum, Barton Willmore, Volume and Alt Reading.
The volunteers spent over a year researching Reading, interviewing local people, designing the trails and building this website. They contributed to every aspect of the project from event management to map design, while gaining new skills and uncovering Reading’s hidden history.
