FAQS & GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL
Water
Empty flasks or water bottles can brought on site and refilled from the onsite tap – please ask staff for the location.
Water/soft drinks in sealed containers (no alcohol or glass bottles) are allowed on site.
What to do in an emergency
Locate a member of security or Readipop staff and they will be able to assist.
Food and drink
We have a great selection of food on site and bars. Only pre-prepared food for your own consumption (picnic food) and are allowed on site.

Is there Camping?
There is no onsite camping at Readipop Festival. However, Reading Station is under 10 minutes walk from our site and numerous reasonably prices hotels are within 15 minutes walk.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. Tickets for children and teens are available from £1 with an accompanying an adult ticket holder.

Yes, we offer opportunities for you to help out across the festival weekend. Register Here.
Lost Property
We hope it doesn’t happen to you, but if you happen to lose anything over the festival weekend report it to the security team or box office staff, or contact festival@readipop.co.uk
Found children
Please report any missing or found children to the box office, a Readipop member of staff or the festival security team. Readipop’s team work with children and young people every week. They will look after any found children until their adult can be found.
When can I get Day Tickets?

Smoking
NO SMOKING inside any tent or structure.
Toilets
Facilities including disabled toilets are available across the site.
Disabled Access + Carers Tickets
Paved level access is available from Gosbrook Road and Wolsey Road. Access is also available via Hills Meadow car park along the river and under the bridge.
Anyone with a valid ticket (or who purchases a valid ticket at the gate) who attends the Festival with a registered carer, will be eligble to a free ticket for the carer. Email festival@readipop.co.uk to request a carer/support ticket.
Litter and recycling
Our aim is to ensure that none of our waste goes to landfill.
Please help us keep Readipop Festival tidy by disposing of your litter responsibly. There are plenty of bins on site- please use them or take your rubbish home.
To reduce plastic waste, our pint and half-pint cups are recyclable. Please dispose of them in the bins provided.
The waste from the on-site bins is sorted off-site to ensure that the maximum is recycled and zero waste goes to landfill.
Fire safety
BBQs and fires are not permitted anywhere on site.
Fire extinguishers are located throughout the site next to each of the stages.
Please be aware of dry parched ground in hot weather and make sure cigarettes are properly extinguished.
Crime prevention
Large gatherings of people at festivals can provide easy pickings for thieves.
Be alert and don’t present thieves with easy opportunities by keeping your belongings with you at all times.
If you have any concerns please talke to staff or security.
Travel
Reading rail station is 10 minutes from the site over the new bridge. There are bus stops nearby on George Street and Gosbrook Road.
Parking
Hills Meadow car park is nearby on George Street it is operated by Reading Borough Council. Access the site via the riverside path under Reading Bridge.
Sun and Rain
The site is mostly open with limited shading from the sun.
We allow customers to bring small sun shade ‘tent’ and parasols for children, if the weather is notably hot.
There is some shelter onsite in case of rain but the main arena is open air.
Bringing chairs
Festival goers are allowed to bring portable camping chairs or stools for personal use onto site.
Pets / Guide Dogs
Only Guide Dogs are permitted entrance to site.
Getting to
Readipop Festival
Readipop Festival Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions apply to all those who purchasing and/or attending Readipop Festival by way of a ticket. By buying a ticket to Readipop Festival, you agree to the below terms:
- Ticket Refunds are only available at the discretion of Readipop – eg. on the full cancellation of the Festival.
- By attending Readipop Festival, you are consenting to being filmed and/or recorded as part of the audience for marketing (and possibly security) reasons.
- Readipop always aims to keep its programme consistent and accurate, but reserves the right to change the programme without notice.
- Tickets are sold subject to our license, and the right of admission to the Festival is reserved.
- On arrival to Readipop Festival, you must present a valid ticket as requested by the Festival box office team in order to access the event. Any wristband you receive must be kept on your wrist for the duration of your stay on site, or if you need to re-enter site after leaving during the event.
- No Dogs (with the exception of guide dogs) are accepted on site.
- No alcohol, glass or weapons can be brought onto site. Water and soft drinks in sealed containers can be brought onto site as well as empty flasks or water bottles.
- Readipop Festival tickets cannot be used in any advertising, competitions, giveaways or sweepstakes, unless explicit permission is given by members of Team Readipop.
- It is your responsibility to find out the date and time of the event, and make your way to and around the event location.
- All under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Motorised vehicles of any kind are not permitted onto site (unless approved by the Readipop site team weeks in advance).
- Our security team reserves the right to conduct reasonable searches of persons and items upon entering or exiting the site. Please co-operate with all reasonable requests made by security or the site team.
- Admission is at the customers own risk, and Readipop nor its partners cannot be held responsible for any lost property (though we will always endeavour to help you find it!)
- Attendees who appear to be 25 or under may be asked for proof of ID before being served alcohol.
- Readipop and Readipop Festival has a zero tolerance attitude to both drugs and violence and reserves the right to remove people from site for any illegal activity, and ban them from subsequent Readipop Festival’s if it is in the interests of safety. Any illegal or dangerous activity conducted on or near site may result in calling the police.
- Strobe lighting may be used at Readipop Festival (Please check with our team in the run up to the event if this is a concern).
- Covid-19: Readipop will be following the latest laws and guidance in regards to site admissions and COVID passes. Refunds will not be given in the case of non-attendance due to illness including Covid-19.
- By attending Readipop Festival you acknowledge that excessive exposure to loud music may be harmful to your health.
