Nature Nurture provide workshops, consultancy, training, learning resources and illustration. We support organisations striving to engage young people with the creative arts, heritage, community and the nature on their doorstep.
Their current focus is The Wild Town Mission; giving people the chance to learn, have fun, enjoy nature and get active outdoors in their local green space.
Much of their work is made possible through grants, which has enabled us to provide nature-inspired workshops to children who would not normally have the opportunity to play and learn outside. We like nothing more than to work with like-minded organisations, so please get in touch if you would like to find out about our latest partnership opportunities.
Their BIGGEST project yet is the Wild West project. Over Summer and Autumn 2014 they teamed up with Play Reading, local conservation groups, nurseries, children’s centres and schools to connect children with the amazing parks and woodlands in the Central West Reading area. Activities included bug hunting, den building, wild art, storytelling and bushcraft.
